Urinary Tract Infections
Pyelonephritis, cystitis, adnexitis, endometritis
Skin & soft tissue infections
Lymphangitis, abscesses, cellulitis, decubitus ulcers, mastitis, furunculosis, erysipelas

Dosage
0 to 18 Years Old
UTI and skin infections:
30 mg/kg body weight per day in divided doses every 12 hours.
Pharyngitis and tonsilitis:
30 mg/kg body weight per day, in single dose or 2 divided doses.
Group A β-hemolytic streptococcus infection:
Treatment at least 10 days.
18 Years Old and Above
Uncomplicated UTI like cystitis:
1-2 g daily, single dose or in 2 equally divided doses.
Other UTI:
2 g daily or 2 equally divided doses.
Skin structure infection:
1 g daily, single dose or in 2 equally divided doses.
Group A β-hemolytic streptococcal pharyngitis & tonsilitis:
1 g daily, single dose or in 2 equally divided doses for at least 10 days.
Respiratory infections:
1 g daily in 2 divided doses.
Moderate to severe infections:
1-2 g daily in 2 divided doses.
Patient with Renal Impairment
Should be used with caution in the presence of impaired renal function (creatinine clearance rate <50 mL/minute/1.73 m²), the dosage must be adjusted according to the grade of renal impairment.
