Indication
Symptomatic treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis, perennial allergic rhinitis and urticaria of allergic origin.
Dosage
12 TO 65 YEARS OLD
10 mg (1 tablet) per day.
6 TO 11 YEARS OLD
5 – 10 mg (½ – 1 tablet) per day
2 TO 5 YEARS OLD
2.5–5 mg (¼ – ½ tablet) per day
ELDERLY PATIENTS
At present there are no data to suggest that the dose needs to be reduced in elderly patients.
INSTRUCTIONS
The time of administration may be varied to suit individual patient needs. Usually given as a single daily dose, with or without food. HISTRINE FT is to be placed on the tongue, allowed to disperse or dissolve in the saliva, and then swallowed anywhere, without the need for water and chewing.
PATIENTS WITH RENAL IMPAIRMENT
In patients with renal insufficiency, the dosage should be reduced to half the usual recommended dose.
10 mg (1 tablet) per day.

5 – 10 mg (½ – 1 tablet) per day
2 TO 5 YEARS OLD
2.5–5 mg (¼ – ½ tablet) per day
