Corporate reputation stems from consistent effort. It is built upon the ability to assess situations, deliver information transparently, maintain trust, and ensure that every message is grounded in accountability.
This is the exact principle upheld by Dexa Group’s Corporate Communications department in supporting the company’s journey as a growing Indonesian healthcare enterprise dedicated to serving the public interest.
Amidst a fast-moving communication landscape, public discourse can evolve within minutes. Issues emerge across various channels, stakeholder expectations continue to rise, and the healthcare industry demands communication standards that are accurate, transparent, and highly contextual.
Dexa Group’s Corporate Communications responds to these dynamics by strengthening its comprehensive communication ecosystem. This encompasses internal and external communications, media relations, social media engagement, campaign management, crisis communication, executive communication, issue monitoring, and the optimization of the company’s owned media channels.
This consistency has earned recognition at the CorComm Dream Team 2026 awards, organized by MIX MarComm and SWA Media Group. During the judging process, Dexa Group’s Corporate Communications secured a score of 361.25, achieving the “Very Good” predicate. The evaluation was based on strategy, creativity, innovation, communication effectiveness, and the overall impact of the implemented programs.
For Dexa Group’s Corporate Communications, this recognition serves as a validation of their journey to develop an increasingly strategic communication function within the enterprise. Corporate Communications plays a pivotal role in helping the organization anticipate issues, understand context, formulate appropriate narratives, and maintain communication consistency across diverse channels.
A notable transformation that drew particular attention during the judging process was the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the team’s daily workflows. AI is utilized to optimize issue analysis, monitor media and social media discourse, develop insights, draft narratives, produce creative content, and evaluate communication strategies in a more structured and accelerated manner.
Dr. A. Edhy Aruman, Senior Editor of SWA Media Group, noted that the utilization of AI represents a vital form of adaptation in contemporary corporate communication practices.
“The utilization of artificial intelligence demonstrates Dexa Group’s capability to adapt to current advancements in communication. Technology can significantly bolster issue analysis, insight development, and the formulation of more relevant narratives,” said Edhy.
During the judging presentation, the Corporate Communications team also demonstrated their measurement approach, which is based on the AMEC framework and the PESO model, to evaluate communication performance across paid, earned, shared, and owned media channels. This framework reinforces a communication workflow driven by data, context, and tangible impact.
Kristy Nelwan, Corporate Communications Director of Unilever and an industry expert, commended Dexa Group’s solid communication foundation, noting its potential for further expansion via digital channels.
“Dexa Group possesses a robust communication foundation. This approach can be further scaled through owned and paid media channels to ensure health education reaches a broader audience and relevant digital communities,” Kristy stated.
One of the flagship programs presented during the evaluation was “Cek Segitiga”, a free health screening and educational initiative that forms part of Dexa Group’s contribution toward raising awareness for the early detection of chronic diseases. The program reached 11,354 participants—surpassing its target by 227%—and generated measurable positive media coverage alongside substantial digital reach.
The Cek Segitiga initiative illustrates how community-driven, data-backed communication coupled with health education can effectively bridge corporate contributions with public needs. The program serves as a prime example of executing communication that remains highly relevant to the public health context.
For Sonny Himawan, Head of Corporate Communications at Dexa Group, this award serves as a poignant reminder that reputation is built through long-term consistency.
“Trust is established through consistency. The duty of Corporate Communications is to ensure that every innovation, contribution, and core value of Dexa Group is understood honestly, relevantly, and contextually by the public and our stakeholders,” he remarked.
He added that corporate communication must remain closely aligned with reality. Every message must originate from substance, be delivered through the appropriate channels, and address the specific needs of the audience within their respective contexts.
The recognition of Dexa Group’s communication journey is further reinforced by various other accolades, including the Public Relations Indonesia Awards (PRIA) 2026. This event honored several of the company’s communication programs, such as Pharma 360, Dexa News, Cek Segitiga, and the Cerminan Kualitas (Reflection of Quality) campaign.
For Dexa Group’s Corporate Communications, the Corcomm Dream Team 2026 accolade is part of an ongoing journey: anticipating situations early, operating with greater measurability, adapting to technological advancements, and fostering trust through honest, relevant, and impactful communication.
