Dexa Group received an award from the government for their hard work and contribution in efforts to deal with COVID-19 in Indonesia. The award was delivered directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Joko Widodo, at the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) Award at the Dhanapala Building, Ministry of Finance, Jakarta, Monday, March 20 2023.
Present at the event were the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Mr. Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Mr. Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Finance Mrs. Sri Mulyani, Minister of Health Mr. Budi Gunadi Sadikin, and other cabinet members.
Meanwhile from the Dexa Group, President Director of PT Dexa Medica Mr. V. Hery Sutanto was present. President Joko Widodo said that the success in handling the pandemic was inseparable from the cooperation of all components of the nation, from the central government down to the village level, health workers, TNI-Polri, the private sector, community organizations, academics, to the whole community.
“To those of you who received the PPKM Award, I congratulate you. Let us continue this service to solve various humanitarian and national problems, and build Indonesia into a developed country,” said President Jokowi.
In line with President Jokowi, the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Mr. Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan revealed that the successful handling of COVID-19 was the result of the work of all stakeholders, and was supported by performance based on data, science and technology.
“We prove that anything we can get done, I am proud to see friends working with heart, this award is a form of our appreciation for the hard work of all stakeholders,” said Mr Luhut.
The President Director of PT Dexa Medica expressed his gratitude for the award given by the government. “We feel honored and proud to be able to take part in handling COVID-19 in this country. Dexa Group is committed to continuing to support the government, working hard and contributing to society according to our expertise and abilities and in line with our core purpose, Expertise for The Promotion of Health ,” said Mr. V. Hery.
Efforts that have been made by Dexa Group during the COVID-19 pandemic include providing medicines, supplements and vitamins needed in handling the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dexa Medica has also contributed to donating millions of tablets, including Chloroquine 250 mg Hydroxychloroquine 200 mg, and Azithromycin 500 mg distributed in the pandemic all hospitals in Indonesia through the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) and the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes).
When Indonesia needed Favipiravir and Remdesivir, Dexa Medica presented Avigan and Jubi-R, and even Regkirona, a monoclonal antibody for treating COVID-19 patients. Apart from medicine, the Dexa Group also distributes donations in the form of PPE, as well as supplements and vitamins such as Stimuno immunomodulators to maintain the immune system, Lycoxy, Seloxy, Oxyvit, and others that are urgently needed by doctors and medical personnel, as well as the public.
