JAKARTA — Amid a series of natural disasters impacting various regions across Indonesia throughout 2026, Dexa Group, through its Corporate Social Initiative Dharma Dexa, continues to strengthen its commitment to safeguarding health and inspiring hope for affected communities. This step marks part of Dexa Group’s 57th-anniversary spirit to extend meaningful care tailored to the specific needs of each region.
From medical supplies and shelter to preventive health protection and moral support, Dexa Group’s initiatives have addressed diverse community requirements.
“Dharma Dexa’s initiatives have reached communities and healthcare facilities across various regions, from Aceh to Labuan Bajo. We want to show the public that care is present not only through medical supplies during crises, but also through preventive protection and moral support to help communities recover, in line with our ‘Deal with Care’ commitment,” said Mr. Mateus Ramidi, Manager of Dharma Dexa.
To preserve the quality of medical services for residents affected by flash floods in Aceh, Dharma Dexa donated a 2-door chiller to Tamiang Regional Public Hospital (RSUD Tamiang) in Aceh Tamiang on January 20, 2026. The facility ensures that essential medications—such as insulin, vaccines, and tetanus treatments—are stored at proper temperatures. Handed over directly to the Director of RSUD Tamiang, Dr. Andika Putra, Sp.PD, the donation aims to support the operational recovery of both outpatient and inpatient services.
On July 31, 2026, in Labuan Bajo, support for the younger generation was delivered through the distribution of 100 pairs of shoes to schoolchildren, symbolizing a fresh step forward. On the same day in Palembang, a donation of medicines was presented through a partnership with the local Military Command (Koramil).
In August 2026, Dharma Dexa distributed 31,500 boxes of medicine to ensure uninterrupted healthcare services for patients affected by earthquakes in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Provided by Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM), these essential supplies were specifically delivered from August 18–21, 2026, to Aeramo Hospital, Ruteng Hospital, and TC Hillers Hospital. The distribution was made possible through strong synergy with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Industry, and the Indonesian Health Emergency Volunteer Community (KREKI). On 10 September 2026, 226 boxes of medicines were distributed to those affected in Mbay, Nagekeo Regency and Riung, Ngada Regency.
In Palembang, free N95 masks and multivitamins have been distributed to employees through their respective departments since early September. This initiative serves as an added protective measure during outdoor activities amid haze caused by forest and land fires (karhutla). Operations Director of PT Dexa Medica Palembang, Ms. Ferawaty, emphasized that Occupational Health and Safety (K3) remains a top priority during unhealthy environmental conditions.
“Employee safety and health are our priorities. Given the current unhealthy air quality, we are taking preventive steps by providing N95 masks and multivitamins for all employees. We also continuously remind staff to wear masks, particularly during outdoor activities, as part of our K3 implementation,” said Ms. Ferawaty.
Dexa Group’s outreach further expanded to address urgent social needs on the ground. When communities in Ngada Regency, NTT, required shelter post-earthquake, the Dharma Dexa team donated 90 emergency tents on September 18, 2026. The tents were handed over to the FMM Sisters of Our Lady of Lourdes Community in Bajawa, Ngada Regency, providing temporary shelter to help residents rebuild their lives.
Additionally, on September 20, 2026, Dexa Group extended social assistance to residents living near the Karawang area as a demonstration of corporate care for local communities.
Heading into late September 2026, health protection efforts were broadened to support residents near the Palembang factory affected by haze from forest fires, with a donation of 750 boxes of masks. This assistance also included health supplements for the local Karhutla Task Force.
