President Director PT Dexa Medica, Ir. Ferry Soetikno, M.S.c., MBA. achieved the ‘International Distinguished Alumni Award’ from Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business – University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The award was handed over directly by the Dean of Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and College of Business Administration – University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Arjang Assad, on Friday, May 13, 2016, at the Titan Theater, Titan Center, Bintaro.
The award was given to Ferry Soetikno, who, as alumni of the University of Pittsburgh, year 1987, is considered to have an outstanding achievement in ‘Business Leadership’. To earn this award, there are three criteria that should be owned by the alumni of the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School, namely: 1. Being in top level management 2. Able to positively influence the community 3. Involvement in various activities of Joseph M. Katz Graduate School.
Present at this event were co-Founder of Dexa Medica, Mrs. Hetty Soetikno, and Directors and Managers of Dexa Medica. Also present was the former Chief of BPOM, Dra. Kustantinah Apt. M. App.Sc. he events at this award were: ‘Professional Seminar’featuring Dr. Arjang Assad and Prof. Ir. Roy Sembel, MBA., Ph,D., Dean of IPMI International Business School, Jakarta and also an alumni of Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business – University of Pittsburgh, and the handover of the International Distinguished Alumni Award.
Dr. Arjang Assad discussed two topics, namely: An overview of the University of Pittsburgh’s MBA Program’ and ‘Operations Research and Distribution Management: Theory and Practice’. Also attending this event were Dr. John T. Delaney (the Henry E. Haller Jr. Dean Emeritus and Professor of Business Administration) and Jim Waite, M.B.A., M.Sc. (Director of Alumni and Constituent Relations).
According to Dr. Arjang Assad, ‘Katz Graduate School of Business and College of Business Administration – University of Pittsburgh’, established in 1960, has more than 30,000 alumni, spread over 88 countries, including more than a thousand alumni who have become the CEO of companies in various countries.
