JAKARTA – More than 16,500 people across Indonesia have participated in the Cek Kesehatan Segitiga, a free health screening program organized by Dexa Medica through Dharma Dexa since 2024. Beyond providing blood pressure, blood glucose, and cholesterol screenings, the program, now conducted at 22 locations, also integrates health education, medical consultations, and group physical activities as part of its ongoing support for the government’s efforts to strengthen promotive and preventive healthcare services.
The latest Cek Kesehatan Segitiga was held at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Sports Complex in Jakarta on Sunday (July 19), attracting 1,486 participants. Screening results revealed that approximately 52% of participants had at least one risk factor for non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Specifically, 32.2% were found to have high cholesterol levels, 24.4% had elevated blood pressure, and 6.3% showed high blood glucose levels.

General Practitioner at Bhakti Mulia Hospital, dr. Karinnia, said the high prevalence of risk factors highlights the importance of early detection, as non-communicable diseases often develop without noticeable symptoms in their early stages.
“High cholesterol often causes no symptoms, leading many people to believe they are healthy when they already have underlying risk factors. That is why regular blood pressure, blood glucose, and cholesterol screening is essential for early detection before complications occur. Programs such as the Free Triangle Health Check also play a vital role in raising public awareness and encouraging people to monitor their health regularly,” said dr. Karinnia.
Unlike conventional health screening initiatives, Cek Kesehatan Segitiga does not end with the screening results. Every participant receives an explanation of their health condition, an opportunity to consult with a physician, education on preventing non-communicable diseases, and encouragement to adopt a healthier lifestyle through group physical activities. This comprehensive approach is designed to inspire lasting behavioral changes, ensuring that the benefits of the program extend well beyond the screening itself.

Dexa Group Corporate Supply Chain & Sustainability Director Mr. Anton Harjanto said the program reflects the company’s ESG commitment while serving as a tangible contribution to Indonesia’s healthcare transformation, which increasingly emphasizes promotive and preventive care.
“Cek Kesehatan Segitiga is one of the implementations of Dexa Group’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitment, particularly in expanding public access to preventive healthcare services. As a healthcare company, we are committed to providing high-quality medicines to support Indonesia’s National Health Insurance while also contributing to healthier communities through health education and early detection of non-communicable diseases,” said Mr. Anton.

As a national healthcare company, Dexa Group continues to provide high-quality medicines to support Indonesia’s National Health Insurance (JKN) program while strengthening promotive and preventive healthcare initiatives that deliver direct benefits to communities.
Since its launch in 2024, Cek Kesehatan Segitiga has been conducted in cities including Bandung, Bogor, Cirebon, Jakarta, Karawang, Makassar, Palembang, Solo, Surabaya, South Tangerang, and Yogyakarta. The program will continue to expand to reach more communities, providing greater access to early disease detection, health education, medical consultations, and ongoing support for building healthier lifestyles.
