Dexa Group received two prestigious awards from the Ministry of Industry Indonesia, which are the Green Industry Award 2019 through PT Ferron Par Pharmaceuticals and the Technology Pioneer Award 2019 through PT Dexa Medica. The awards were given for the company’s commitment to increasing industry competitiveness around research development and industrial activities for the efficiency of material, energy and water resources, in order to obtain sustainability of the industry.
Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry, Achmad Sigit Dwi Wahjono accompanied by Ad interim Head of Industrial Research and Development Institution, Eko S.A Cahyono presented the award to the President Director of PT Ferron Par Pharmaceuticals, Krestijanto Pandji and the Executive Director of Dexa Laboratories of Biomolecular Sciences (DLBS) PT Dexa Medica, Dr. Raymond Tjandrawinata at Garuda Hall Ministry of Industry, Jakarta, Monday, 16 December 16 2019. The award ceremony was also witnessed by Dexa Group Chairman, Ferry Soetikno and Dexa Group Head of Corporate Communications, Sonny Himawan.
Achmad Sigit stated that the Ministry of Industry encourages industrial companies to develop and carry out technological engineering to minimize Indonesia’s dependency on imports of capital goods, such as machinery and other equipment.
“Industrial development cannot be separated from the role of technology, and this involves synergy and collaboration between the government, industry players and scientists. Therefore, through this award, industrial companies and inventors can be motivated to continue their business,” said Achmad Sigit.
Achmad Sigit adedd that reliable R&D can increase the efficiency of the industrial production process in producing quality products with high economic value. In addition, the development of a green industry is expected to accelerate the industry transformation towards an innovation-based industry that is strong and highly competitive.
Meanwhile, Krestijanto Pandji explained that PT Ferron has implemented the principles of the Green Industry in its production process. The green industry principles such as energy and water efficiency will increase the pharmaceutical industry competitiveness.
Similarly, Raymond Tjandrawinata said the technology pioneering award given to Inlacin products is a testament to Dexa Group’s commitment to innovating Indonesian natural raw materials by producing high-value Indonesian Original Modern Medicines (OMAI).
“Innovation of Indonesian natural raw materials into OMAI is Dexa Group’s real effort to reduce imports of medicinal raw materials. We have been doing this since 2005, one of which is through Inlacin and also Redacid which has just obtained the NIE Fitofarmaka,” said Mr. Raymond.
